CHARLIE’S TYPEFACE

The typeface was based on the distinct voice and personality of a close friend named Charlie. One notable aspect of this project is the representation of Charlie’s accent, which not only reflects his upbringing but also influences how others perceive him.
Accents are particularly fascinating as they can convey cultural background and personality without explanation. The resulting dual typeface captures the unique sounds of Charlie’s voice, with colors and shapes that balance boldness and subtlety, reflecting his character.
